“Performance and Ideation—Discourse in Innovation”

When Architect@Work takes place next week in Shanghai, an exciting lecture series, "Performance and Ideation - Discourse in Innovation", will run along side the show for the full duration. The following statement sets the tone for what to expect: "Ideas are the basis of innovation.  In this regard, the definitions of those ideas are often translated through the process of production toward a performance objective.  This is the act of design, a cultural production rooted in the narrative of the process.  Therefore, to achieve innovation one must understand the objectivity of performance and subjectivity of ideation." The lecture series will be led by top international professionals exploring the dichotomy of design, between performance and ideation, through audience interactive presentations and workshops.

All lectures are certified by AIA for continued education Learning Units.
